Celtic say fans who did not observe a Remembrance Sunday minute’s silence have “embarrassed the club” and are “not welcome” at future games.
The Scottish champions
“The silence was impeccably observed by the overwhelming majority of our fans as it always is,” the club said.
“Clearly we are disappointed that a handful of individuals have chosen to embarrass the club and our supporters in this way.”
The short statement ended: “These individuals are not welcome at Celtic.”
Earlier, Celtic manager Ronny Deila had commented on the disruption during his post-match news conference, saying: “It is disappointing.
“I come from Norway and I don’t know too much about these things, but it is something the club has to deal with.”
