THE Premier League’s goal-laden weekend ended with a pretty tepid affair at Vicarage Road. Chances were at a premium as Crystal Palace beat Watford 1-0 with a penalty.

That ended the sequence of over 2.5 goals in the top flight and there is every chance West Brom v Everton will go that way too.

Both sides have been better in defence than attack this season with the Baggies keeping four clean sheets in six league games and The Toffees three.

Strangely the only goals Tony Pullis’s men have conceded to in the league are Chelsea and Man City with both netting three at The Hawthorns.

Everton’s last two away matches have ended 0-0 at Swansea and Spurs and under 2.5 goals pays no more than 4-6 at Skybet – West Brom have seen under 2.5 goals in nine of their last 10 matches against the Toffees.

Team news is crucial with defenders John Stones and Seamus Coleman doubts and of course Leighton Baines is still crocked and Kevin Mirallas banned.

As far as the WDW markets go Everton are favourites at 6-4 with Bet365 and Betfred and I’m not sure if that should be the case. West Brom don’t score enough but are tough to beat.

The return of Saido Berahino is a boost though and he netted the only goal in their last league game at Aston Villa. West Brom are 28-13 with 888Sport and 11-18 on the double chance.

But the bet for me – and it’s my Super Single tonight – is West Brom draw no bet at 11-10 with the likes of Bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power.

Berahino is 13-2 at Ladbrokes and William Hill to score first and 5-2 with 888Sport at any time.
